Opening night jitters? Not for No. 11 Syracuse field hockey. The Orange dominated from start to finish in a 15-0 rout of Lock Haven. SU's Bo van Kempen led the charge with six goals — the most in a single game in program history.

It was such a surreal experience to get the opportunity to travel back to my home state to cover Syracuse Women's Lacrosse as a CitrusTV Women's Lacrosse Beat Reporter! It was a successful trip out west for No. 6 SU, who topped California 18-6 in Berkeley, CA. Orange attacker Emma Ward recorded 5 assists, just 3 shy of the program's all-time record. SU freshman Caroline Trinkaus tied her personal-best 4 goals.

Honoring 2015 Syracuse field hockey national championship team and Alyssa Manley's jersey retirement
On November 22, 2015, Alyssa Manley led Syracuse field hockey to the first — and still only — women’s national title at SU. Nearly a decade later, Manley and fellow alumni saw her jersey retired at J.S. Coyne Stadium last weekend, forever etched into Orange history and inspiring future generations. I’m truly honored to have spoken with Manley and her former teammates to celebrate this incredible team and her enduring legacy!

No. 9 Syracuse field hockey led No. 2 North Carolina at the half — UNC's first halftime deficit all year — but the Tar Heels rallied in the final 20 seconds to steal a 4-3 win. Despite the loss, SU impressed against the nation's elite.
